CODE: turrise 6675 PASSWORD: library123 After watching Mr. Dornemann read Click Clack Moo: Cows that Type please talk about the answers to these questions with your parents, brothers, sisters, or your friends.
1: Why did the cows want electric blankets? 2: How did the cows try to get the electric blankets? 3: What did the cows and hens agree to trade to Farmer Brown to get the electric blankets? 4: What went wrong at the end of the story? Now choose one of the following activities. You can put it in your finished work folder and bring it back to school when we return, or you can send it as an email! 1: Pretend that you are another animal on the farm and think about what that animal might want and write a letter to Farmer Brown asking for it. Be sure to include what you think that other animal might want and why they need it. 2: Stories always have problems and solutions; things that go wrong and ways to fix it. What was the problem in the story and how was it solved? Using a piece of blank paper draw a picture of the problem in the story on one half, and the solution to the story on the other. Be sure to include a sentence explaining your picture. 3: Think about what happened in the beginning of the story, the middle, and the end. Then use the graphic organizer to draw a picture and write a sentence about what happened in the beginning of the story, the middle and the end. |

RESOURCE: Farmer Brown Shears His Sheep by Teri Sloat ----------------------------------------- In today’s video I talked to you about my trip to a farm in Scotland where I visited some sheep. I shared my photos of sheep, goats, ducks, a sheepdog, farmer, and some Scottish cows. Then I showed you how I knit wool into clothing. Next I read a story to you about sheep who talked to the farmer. I hope you enjoyed it. Here are some questions for you to talk about at home. Or you can write down what you liked about the story.
